Keep Calm The Philippines is Under Care

In times like this, "THANK YOU" words are not suffice to pay back to people/countries  who are untiringly working hand in hand sending medical assistance, foods, troops and etc. to the victims of super typhoon Yolanda (Hiayan). World leaders, private organizations and individuals, Filipinos and non-Filipinos alike are extending their prayers, ways and means to help thousands of victims who are under the state of calamity especially in Tacloban, Cebu and neighbor islands where Hiayan left her juice of devastation.

We Filipinos are known for being very strong when it comes to difficulties and trials, but in situation like this "strong" will just be a word and no justice without the help of so many. We are stronger now because of the help of the UN, USA, JAPAN, ISRAEL, INDONESIA, KWUAIT, UAE, KANADA,  TAIWAN, GREAT BRITAIN, KINGS, QUEENS, STUDENTS, NGOs, ARTISTS, MUSICIANS and more. Let's face it, tho we Filipinos are not blessed with a well and financially sustained country,  but we are blessed with countries full of good people in it. This is a statement that we owns the world. Thank you donors for making the Filipino people feel this way.

Adventure to the less traveled world in lonely planet

"Survivor world Rio Vitali edition 8th of september 2013 a day before the Zamboanga City siege"

No hindrances for people like us who wanted to experience another one-of-a-kind adventure while bonding and reuniting ties which is our own way of small get-together instead of climbing up neighbor's rooftop and stare the milky way. Another "dream come true" getaway with friends, a simple adventure yet worth a million dollar experience. This is our Rio Vitali experience

Six days before the Rio Vitali superb experience I got a text message from my friend Norman Ignacio, an invite to go swimming, it was almost a short notice for me because I already commit to the other group to go caving on the same day but I replied yes to him with excitement and no hesitation beacuae Rio Vitali has been in my dream to go to very long time ago. So Norman brought his sister floriza and also invited his cousins Laling and Popoy Cabayacruz, a total of five adventurer kuno made their way to Rio Vitali packed with suman de saging and rice made by Norman's mom for the viand it's all up to us what or where could we hunt for some but we decided to buy canned goods and tuyo / dried fish along the way instead of hunting wild pig, fish or birds :)

It took us I think 15 to 20 minutes to reach the site. Warning to those who want to go to Rio Vitali river don't drive a city car, you may drive motor bike, habal-habal or better yet drive your 4wd carabao and fuel up some energy because the road going there is horrifying. You will encounter a roller coaster ride or more than that "calling on the attention of the people concerned" Back to our story, we played, we hunted paku and tahba, we laughed and etc. The rain came down then sun after, still we managed to give justice to what our adventure means. We did our survivor version successfully but note this is not just a survivor USA, Asia or Austrailia this is survivor world Rio Vitali edition Sunday 8th of September a day before the Zamboanga City siege.

oops no objections please. Thanks to Norman, Popoy, Floriza and Laling.

Oratio Emperata for Deliverance from Calamities

Almighty Father, we raise our hearts to you in gratitude for the wonders of creations of which we are part, for your providence in sustaining us in our needs, and for your wisdom that guides the course of the Universe. We acknowledge our sins against You and the rest of creation. We have not been good stewards of nature. We have confused your command to subdue the earth.

The environment is made to suffer our wrongdoing and now we reap the harvest of our abuse and indifference. Typhoons, floods heavy rains and other natural calamities occur in increasing number and intensity. We turn to You, our loving Father, and beg forgiveness for our sins. We ask that we, our loved ones and our hard earned possessions be spared from the treat of calamities, natural and man-made. We beseech You to inspire us all to grow into responsible stewards of your creation, and generous neighbors to those in need.

We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit one God, Forever and ever. Amen

Butterfly Kisses

It's June 16, 2013 - I'm not sharing this just because it's father's day but because I miss  my sunshine Emily Reese. I maybe the lousiest man on earth 'coz I don't have the guts and balls or maybe didn't have at all  to be a father enough to my lovely charming daughter. I know I've been very busy with a lot of stuff lately but all those things  I dedicated it to my life and my life is my Emily. I am not that so expressive but hopefully this will serve a record for my baby to read in the near future.

There's two things I know for sure:
She was sent here from heaven and she's daddy's little girl.
As I drop to my knees by her bed at night
She talks to Jesus and I close my eyes

.....  Oh, with all that I've done wrong, I must have done something right
To deserve a hug every morning and butterfly kisses at night.

Your charming face is telling me or perhaps asking me "Where are you dad?" and I do nothing but cry thinking of you. I love you so much dearest Emily, I know this is a lesson to me why I am too far from you since day one to day now.

To Sharon  the supermom, hats off....  thank you for this gift.

Guiwan Bus terminal is the worst station on earth

It has been three months now since I've landed back in my hometown "the city of Zamboanga" . It's kinda frustrating because I am so much in love with my Bella Hermosa Ciudad  when I was in Manila back then. Since the time I came here it is always a fun thing to me riding a bus going to and coming from somewhere in the east coast of this city three times a week.
Bienvenidos Zamboanga!
These two words are diamonds to my ears enough and perfect to be called that Zamboanga City is indeed the Latin City of Asia. Now, is the photo below can give justice to the word Bienvenidos? or it is a Mal Venidos? is this the right way we welcome visitors?

This Bus station is just one of the many fatal wounds of my Bella Hermosa. Are the local legislators ready to be Bella's doctors?

The City is booming, no questions to that. Remember our major terminals  serves as the brochures and business cards of our city but how are we going to attract investors and visitors if we have this kind of presentation? Perhaps it is just a mess.

Hasta La Vista!
