UNIQLO Launches Recovery Project in Japan’s Tohoku Region

February 28, 2012, Tokyo, Japan – UNIQLO today announces the launch of its next phase of assistance to the revitalization of communities in the Tohoku Region that were most affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake that struck on March 11, 2011. Under this project, known as the UNIQLO Recovery Assistance Project, the company will partner with five NGOs for three years and open new stores in the hardest-hit communities.

Fast Retailing Group companies led by UNIQLO have been actively working with affected local communities since soon after the disaster struck, donating funds and relief supplies, as well as sending volunteer staff to distribute clothes to people in need. Working directly with these communities over the last year has given UNIQLO a clear understanding of their immediate needs and hopes for the future. The UNIQLO Recovery Assistance Project was shaped by this experience. Through this project, UNIQLO aims to provide long-term support to communities in need and make a contribution to revitalizing Japan.

Casmara Facial Treatment

A relaxing weekend happened at the SVELTE wellness center in Eastwood, Quezon City.  Together with the winners of  the Casmara Cosmetics - Philippines Facebook Fan Page and some chosen bloggers including myself,  we were able to experience the Casmara way treatment "The Relaxing, Fantastic and Awesome way".

Three of the lucky Casmara Fan page winners:  Mr. John Henry Berdan,  Ms. Jenny G. and Mrs. Ma. Laarni Berdan

By the way folks, Casmara is a Spanish cosmetics company, located in the city of Valencia Spain and has always been a pioneer in incorporating the most efficient ingredients known nowadays in the cosmetics field and the inventor of the Original Algae Peek Off Mask.  Today,  Casmara products are available in 60 countries all over the world.

John Henry Berdan is enjoying his relaxing "Shine Stop" facial mask.

One of the most relaxing treatments ever from facial massage, steaming, phasing and masking. I've tried the "Shine Stop" a mask formulated for oily skins, oh great! it is so cool,  so refreshing. Can you imagine how relaxing it is lying in bed with your face covered with refreshing mask?  and while waiting for the 15 to 20 minutes detoxifying, purifying and hydrating period then the only sound that you can hear is a music like you're in paradise, ooh la la relaxing isn't it?

Well I just had that grandiose experience given by Casmara at the SVELTE Wellness Center  a beauty clinic that operates under the umbrella of Diana Stalder.

Manila at Night

I LOVE LUMIX

Due to my eagerness to learn some night shots using my handy digital camera (LUMIX), I was able to capture these images kinda "Perfect Light at Night" wohooo Manila.
Manila Cathedral
Metropolitan Theater, Manila

Binondo Riverside

Perfect: My first time touring around at night all by myself (backpacking) because I just want to obey my thirst for some good spots in the metro.   I've started my photo walk at 7pm  from Intramuros to Lawton and Quiapo, there are lots of beautiful spots to take a clicks but these are the places that caught my attention inevitably. A place that looks like in Singapore, Italy or in some European cities. Amazing right?

Truly it's more fun in manila traveling at night.
